Have you been experiencing hair static as of late?
There are a couple of reasons that your hair may be a little clingy lately. Hair static is common in the chillier months because the air is drier and your hair picks up an electrical charge from the dry air. Static may also be caused by cheap hair products (shampoo/conditioners) that aren't giving your hair the needed moisture during this season. Additionally, plastic combs or brushes are more likely to have static. But don't worry there are a few simple things you can do to get rid of the static. ![]() Ok ladies, and gentlemen (yes, I'm including trends for guys too; cool right?) I thought that I would share with you some of the trends out there that make it on my top 10. If you've had the same hair style/color for the last 10 years I'm urging you to try something new. Typically, you will get used to a new style in about 7 days and plus, hair grows back. Nothing to worry about. Let's kick off a new year with a new style! Ok, ok maybe you're a plain Jane (what's the guy equivalent?) and are alright with that, but it doesn't hurt to look; right? At any rate, here are my most loved top 10 hair trends: I had a client come to me with her hair breaking off, it was overly dry and looked like straw. There was no shine, and she complained that her hair was not growing. So of course, I introduced her to my six commandments of hair. We started with her hair at about 7" long (after all the damage was removed) and now 1 yr later her hair is past her shoulders.
